Here is the blurb that came with it (translations might be weird, so much 受け身.)
“When I [t/n: Katsura] received the development notes, it said that Lunatic was a criminal who hunted seekers [t/n: The name for NEXTs during development]. He was a guy who ‘used to be Kotetsu’s partner, but due to an incident, he stepped off the path of justice and had his memories altered by Kotetsu. The hand print on his face was from when Kotetsu used his powers on him.’ At the time, Kotetsu had both the power-type ability for punching as well as a memory altering ability at the same time.”

In the course of a week or so my life has… changed. A lot. I’m going off social media and pausing all fandom and t&b fanwork until I feel more stable. Take care everyone!
Some snippets from the Miracle Jump manga, Chapter 27. I recommend reading for yourself here which is why I didn’t post all of it.
Im not going to do a full analysis or explaination, i think the stark contrast is cleare.
They are in a very similar situation where both of them can’t use their power + Kotetsu can’t use his wire. Also, they left mid battle to help him, instead of waiting. Yes, this guy isn’t there enemy, but in that moment neither was Lunatic. He was their ally then, and even if he had been fighting against them then, they’d have reacted just the same as in this manga, especially Kotetsu.
Kotetsu isn’t always the most tactful with words, but he tries and cares! He doesn’t sit around and let lives he could be saying go wasted, he doesn’t give up on people.
